Harvest Dinner

On November 14th Westview Church had its annual Harvest Dinner.

We ate delicious teriyaki chicken and raised almost $900 to benefit both our Westview Church Neighborhood Tutoring Club

and House of Joy Navajo Church in Arizona (where our youth served this past summer).

Thank you to all who volunteered to help cook, decorate, etc. for making this a successful, fun-filled event!

On Saturday, October 17th, Westview participated in the CROP Hunger Walk at Second Harvest in Watsonville.

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others

to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the World.

Westview won the Golden Shoe award for the 2nd year in a row

for the most participants!

Good job Westview in helping feed the hungry of the World!

Thank you to all who were there to support this great cause!!

The Westview Warriors did it again by surpassing our $1,000 goal and raising almost $2,000 for the American Cancer Society

at the Annual Watsonville Relay for Life on July 18th and 19th, 2015.

This year's booth sales included our traditional chicken teriyaki box lunches,

snack packs and lap beads for walkers who wanted to keep track of how many laps they did

as well as many luninaria sales (we sold more than 70)!

Westview would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped out with the chicken meal preparation, meal ticket sales,

manning our booth, stamping lap bead charms, the decoration of luminaria bags, walking the track,

and the donating of snacks to our participants.

A big thank also to those who made a donation to the American Cancer Society

for our team.

Great job, everyone!!
